How do I unlock all of the content in the ‘World’ apps?

From the Menu Screen, tap on the ‘Grown-up’ button to access the Grown-up’s menu. From here tap the ‘Unlocked’ toggle. If you have a subscription, this will unlock all of the activities.

How do I reset the progress in the ‘World’ apps?

From the Menu Screen, tap on the ‘Grown-up’ button to access the Grown-up’s menu. From here, tap the ‘Reset’ button. You will be prompted to confirm your choice.  When you do, your progress will be reset.

Why do I have to pay to watch the videos in the World apps?

You can access the Alphablocks and Numberblocks shows in a variety of ways. If you’re in the UK, you can watch these shows on CBeebies and the BBC iPlayer. Outside the UK, you can catch them on Netflix, YouTube or the Alphablocks and Numberblocks World apps. To make the videos accessible in the app we need to stream them from a hosting service, which costs money. We have to cover these costs in the app as well as the costs of creating content.

Why do the ‘World’ apps require a subscription?

It requires a lot of time and energy to plan and build the apps. We invest heavily into making the apps in terms of a team (including, developers, designers, artists, actors, maths consultants and producers) and also in terms of hosting and streaming content. In order to continue to update the apps we need to generate revenue to cover these costs and continue to create appropriate and beneficial experiences for children.

Why do the ‘World’ apps contain in-app-purchases?

The in-app-purchases refer to the subscription. There are no other purchases within the apps. This allows us to cover our costs of building the app, continue to update the content to create beneficial experiences for little learners and cover streaming costs.

How do I manage my ‘World’ apps subscription?

Can I play the ‘World’ apps on multiple devices?

You can install the ‘World’ app on multiple devices on the same platform (Apple/Google Play/Kindle).

Unfortunately, at the moment you can not transfer your progress across platforms or devices. This is something we are looking into.

Can I play the ‘World’ app with multiple children?

At the moment, there is only one profile. We are looking into multiple profiles in a future update. We would love to hear from you via the contact form below if this is of interested to you. At the moment all of the activities can be revisited and played again so other children can experience all of the content.

How do I report a problem/crash/freeze?

My subscription is not working?

How do I request a refund?

If you purchased an app via the Apple App store, please contact Apple directly to request a refund.

If you purchased an app via the Google Play store, please contact us using the form below with your invoice number.

How do I get in contact with the developers?

Why does the app ask for permissions to access storage/photos?

The app asks for permissions such as storage to enable the ability to save images created in the painting app to your device.

How do I find out more about the Numberblocks or Alphablocks?

The best way is to read more about the apps on our website or sign up to our newsletter.
